Are you an Electrical Design Engineer with Protection and Control or similar HV/MV electrical experience, looking to join an industry leading and growing company that will provide training, progression, and long-term career development? Do you want a role where you will have the opportunity to advance your career by working end-to-end designing, testing and delivering substation projects to TNO/DNO standards?
In this role you will be responsible for end-to-end substation projects from designing, configuring to commissioning protection and control systems. You will design substation automation systems (SAS), RTU/PLC logic, and IEC 61850-based systems as well as select and configure protection relays and prepare relay setting files.
This is a Monday to Friday role with flexible work times based on a 40-hour week which will involve sometimes being on site providing technical support during commissioning and fault-finding stages. The company are specialists within industrial automation, manufacturing and electrical engineering solutions. They provide solutions for a range of clients within the energy network from solar PV plants, battery storage, natural gas and more. The Role:- End-to-end projects, designing and delivering control systems for substations
- Produce schematics and documentation
- Support testing, inspection, and commissioning activities
- Assist with Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT)
- Provide technical support across the wider business
- Occasional travel to sites
