Senior / Principal Electrical Engineer
London Hybrid Working
If you're looking for a role where your technical expertise is valued, your ideas are heard, and you'll have a genuine opportunity to influence the direction of a growing consultancy, this could be the opportunity for you.
We're partnering with an ambitious, independent building services consultancy that is redefining what a modern engineering consultancy can look like. Working across the commercial property sector, they provide expert MEP engineering, technical due diligence, refurbishment, decarbonisation and advisory services to developers, investors, asset managers and occupiers.
Unlike many traditional consultancies, innovation sits at the heart of the business. Alongside delivering technically outstanding engineering solutions, they're investing heavily in the future of the industry by developing their own AI platform specifically for the built environment. Designed to improve project delivery, enhance technical workflows and unlock greater value for clients, it's a major investment in the future of engineering and a reflection of the company's progressive approach.
Why Join?
This is a business that's growing-but doing so with purpose.
The team currently consists of nine engineers, with plans to grow organically to around 15 engineers by Q2 2027 and approximately 25 by the end of 2028.
Rather than chasing rapid expansion, the focus is on sustainable growth, ensuring the consultancy continues to deliver the qualities that have built its reputation:
- Exceptional technical quality.
- Close collaboration across every project.
- A genuinely positive and enjoyable team culture.
The business has been deliberately built to remain lean. Specialist expertise is supplemented by a trusted network of affiliated partners where required, allowing the consultancy to stay agile, maintain consistently high technical standards and deliver complex projects without unnecessary management layers or bureaucracy.
One of the biggest advantages is the level of exposure you'll receive. Engineers work directly alongside Directors and senior leaders from day one, giving you the opportunity to influence technical decisions, build client relationships and gain commercial experience that is often difficult to achieve within larger multidisciplinary consultancies.
