Leading aerospace company are seeking Senior Mechanical Engineer to support expanding project aligned to aerospace, high power electricals and adjoining electronics casings, fluid systems networks and piping & engine systems.

Experience

Circa 7 – 20+ years in Mechanical Design, with extensive / highly relevant aerospace industry exposure.

  • Tasks
  • Own CAD design and associated data for assigned components and assemblies
  • 3D CAD models and high–quality 2D production drawings
  • PLM Management
  • Apply knowledge of GD&T, materials, finishes, manufacturing processes, as well as and stress analysis
  • Lead and participate in design reviews
  • Key Skills
  • Expert user of 3D CAD (Siemens NX strongly preferred) and experience with Teamcenter PLM or similar systems.
  • Strong understanding of GD&T (ASME standards) and capability to create complex, aerospace–grade CAD models and mechanical drawings.
  • Understanding of stress analysis principles, materials, finishes, and relevant manufacturing processes.

Desirable Skills

  • Knowledge of advanced manufacturing techniques, including additive manufacturing.
  • Capability to conduct thermal, fluid, or complex mechanical simulations.
