You'll be responsible for delivering high–quality electrical building services designs from concept through to completion, working closely with clients, architects and the wider engineering team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing electrical building services systems across a range of sectors including Data Centres, Commercial, Residential and Education.
- Producing electrical calculations, specifications and technical reports.
- Designing LV distribution, lighting, small power, emergency lighting, fire alarms and other building services systems.
- Coordinating designs with mechanical engineers, architects and structural engineers using BIM/Revit where appropriate.
- Attending client meetings, site visits and design team meetings.
- Supporting project delivery through all RIBA stages.
- Ensuring designs comply with current British Standards and Building Regulations.
The Ideal Candidate
- 3–5 years' experience as an Electrical Design Engineer within a Building Services consultancy.
- Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
- Experience Data Centres
- Proficient in Amtech, Dialux and AutoCAD, with Revit experience being highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills with the confidence to liaise directly with clients and project teams.
- Able to attend project sites across London as required.
- A proactive mindset with the ambition to progress into a senior or leadership position.
