Senior Building Services Engineer - Electrical
I am partnering with a leading main contractor to find a Senior Building Services Engineer - Electrical.
This role is essential to ensure continuity of engineering processes on current and future projects.
The Role
- Tender engineering, reviewing designs, commentary, buildability studies, logistics and planning.
- Project engineering and managing M&E design teams, plus architectural and structures interfaces.
- Technical reviews of design requirements for both systems and equipment.
- Ensuring specification compliance, legislative requirements, and certificated scheme compliance, such as BREEAM and WELL.
- Technical evaluation of prospective manufacturers equipment submissions prior to purchase.
- Technical evaluation of sub-contractors tender offers, Quality Assurance, programme and logistics.
- Managing the production of coordinated installation drawings for technical compliance, buildability, operation, maintenance and H&S (CDM).
- What We Are Looking For
- Ideally, you will have an Engineering Degree or equivalent.
- Experience working in the Construction industry within Building Services.
- Good knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical systems, equipment, and design/coordination requirements.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Working well both as a team member or leading a small team.
- Must be able to manage workload with good time management.
- Good IT skills in Excel and Word, with the ability to use other IT software (specific training will be given).
- Previous management experience would be beneficial for this role.
