Are you a Junior Electrical Design Engineer or Electrical Design Engineer with AutoCAD experience, looking to join a specialist engineering business where you will be trained, developed and able to grow your technical scope over time all while working on a variety of highly technical projects?
On offer is a permanent role where you will be properly supported with further training, and where the complexity of the work will increase as you develop-ideal for someone early in their design career who wants to build long-term expertise.
You will be joining a well-established engineering company with a close-knit team, working on varied equipment and project work across different industries. This company work with blue chip companies across the Aerospace, Construction, Marine and Defence industries providing end-to-end capabilities, combining technical expertise with precision manufacturing to deliver high-quality, lightweight, and durable components. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to add to their design function.
In this role you will produce electrical design drawings and documentation, create and manage BOMs/part numbers in the MRP system, and support build, commissioning and testing-plus provide technical support to clients and internal teams.
This role would suit a junior-level Electrical Design Engineer looking for strong training, increasing technical responsibility and long-term development in a stable, growing business.
The Role:
- Electrical design for equipment and process project work (AutoCAD)
- Design of electrical wiring looms, drawings and supporting documentation
- Hands-on support with build, commissioning and testing; occasional site work
- Mon-Thu 7:30-16:30, Fri 7:30-13:30
The Person:
- Junior Electrical Design Engineer / Graduate Engineer (1-2 years' relevant experience)
- AutoCAD experience
- Experience designing electrical wiring looms
