Turner Property Recruitment are delighted to be assisting their client in the search for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join a highly regarded engineering team delivering diverse and technically challenging building services projects. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Engineer looking to take the next step, working across a broad range of sectors including commercial, education, residential, retail, industrial and leisure.
You will be involved in full project lifecycle delivery, from feasibility through to completion, working closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, sustainable design solutions.
The Role
- Deliver electrical design from feasibility through to completion and handover
- Work closely with clients, architects, engineers and contractors across project teams
- Attend and contribute to technical and project meetings
- Ensure designs meet current legislation, standards and health and safety requirements
- Advise clients on energy use, sustainability and carbon reduction strategies
- Review contractor proposals and carry out site inspections
- Design building services systems using software such as CAD, Revit, Dialux and Amtech
About You
- Degree qualified in Building Services or Electrical Engineering
- Significant experience in electrical building services design
- Chartered or working towards CEng status
- Strong understanding of UK regulations and design standards
- Proficient in industry software including CAD and BIM tools
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Motivated, organised and keen to progress
