Salary fully negotiable depending on experience plus bonus + benefits + overtime. The role is mostly working within the Cheshire/North West region with only very occasional further travel.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Engineer to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an engineer who is confident working on air conditioning systems, including VRV/VRF systems. The position is a paid, permanent role and is suitable for experienced engineers with proven knowledge of fault‑finding, diagnosing, maintaining and repairing HVAC systems and who must also be able to install split/multi split and VRF air conditioning systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned maintenance, servicing, reactive repairs and installations where required. You must be able to work independently, identify faults accurately, recommend suitable repairs and complete works safely, efficiently and to a high standard. Experience working on chilled water systems would be beneficial, although not essential.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Installations of DX AC systems
  • Fault‑finding and diagnosing issues on air conditioning and HVAC systems
  • Carrying out planned maintenance, servicing and reactive repairs
  • Working on air conditioning and VRV/VRF systems
  • Working on ventilation and associated mechanical systems
  • Attending commercial and/or domestic sites as required
  • Completing works safely, efficiently and professionally
  • Providing clear updates on works carried out and any further recommendations
  • Completing job reports, service sheets and paperwork accurately
  • Ensuring all work complies with relevant standards and company procedures

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience within the HVAC industry
  • Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic skills
  • Experience maintaining and repairing air conditioning systems
  • Experience working on VRV/VRF systems
  • Chilled water system experience would be beneficial
  • A good understanding of associated mechanical and electrical systems
  • Good computer skills, including the ability to use Microsoft Word, Office and basic job management systems
  • Good timekeeping and the ability to manage their own workload
  • A full, clean UK driving licence
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A professional attitude and good customer service skills
