Are you an Electrical Design Engineer with experience delivering utility–scale Solar, BESS or other renewable energy projects? If so, please read on.
Essential skillset:- Proven experience designing electrical systems for utility–scale Solar, BESS or renewable energy projects
- Strong understanding of LV and MV electrical distribution systems
- Experience producing single line diagrams (SLDs), protection schematics, cable schedules and electrical layouts
- Knowledge of G99 grid connection requirements and DNO design standards
- Experience carrying out electrical calculations, including cable sizing, voltage drop and protection coordination
- Familiarity with power system studies such as load flow, short circuit and protection studies
- Experience liaising with DNOs, ICPs, EPC contractors and clients throughout the design and approval process
- Proficient in AutoCAD and electrical design software
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to undertake occasional UK site visits
