Are you an Electrical Design Engineer with experience delivering utility-scale Solar, BESS or other renewable energy projects? If so, please read on.

Essential skillset:

  • Proven experience designing electrical systems for utility-scale Solar, BESS or renewable energy projects
  • Strong understanding of LV and MV electrical distribution systems
  • Experience producing single line diagrams (SLDs), protection schematics, cable schedules and electrical layouts
  • Knowledge of G99 grid connection requirements and DNO design standards
  • Experience carrying out electrical calculations, including cable sizing, voltage drop and protection coordination
  • Familiarity with power system studies such as load flow, short circuit and protection studies
  • Experience liaising with DNOs, ICPs, EPC contractors and clients throughout the design and approval process
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and electrical design software
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to undertake occasional UK site visits
