- • Produce and maintain high–quality engineering documentation such as specifications, schematics, calculations, bills of materials, design records, and technical reports.
- • Define safe test and validation strategies, oversee commissioning and hands–on testing, and carry out fault–finding on high voltage equipment.
- • Provide senior technical leadership across design reviews, risk assessments, hazard analysis, and configuration–controlled design changes.
- • Support customer, supplier, and commercial activity with technical input, quotations, investigations, and after–sales support where required.
What You Will Bring:
- • A degree, HND/HNC, or equivalent experience in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a closely related discipline.
- • Demonstrable senior–level experience taking electronic designs through the full development lifecycle, with strong high voltage power supply or power electronics exposure.
- • Proven capability in schematic design, component selection, design calculations, prototype development, test, validation, and introduction to manufacture.
- • Confident PCB design and analysis experience using KiCAD or comparable professional design tools and simulation/analysis relevant to power electronics and transient behaviour.
