Experienced DV Cleared Network Engineer needed to support and enhance secure data centre infrastructure. You will be responsible for network design, implementation, configuration, and ongoing support, including operational and project-based tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and support data centre network solutions
- Audit and review existing and new network designs
- Install, configure, and test switches, firewalls, and routers
- Maintain technical documentation and adhere to standards
- Monitor and improve network performance and security
- Provide mentoring and technical support to team members
Requirements:
- 7+ years in network and infrastructure engineering roles
- Active DV Clearance
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Cisco switches, routers, and firewalls
- Juniper routers and Fortinet firewalls
- Cisco-to-HPE server integration
- CCNA and CCNP Data Centre certifications (preferably with DCACI)
- Data migration and implementation project experience
- Team leadership or mentoring
- Network monitoring tools, VoIP, and video conferencing
- Network hardening, PKI, and encryption knowledge
- Scripting, automation, and virtualisation experience
- ITIL change management and service desk familiarity
- Load balancing, failover testing, and documentation skills
