We are looking for a PowerBI Expert with strong knowledge in developing and maintaining data ingestion pipelines and integrating data from various sources, such as APIs, relational databases, files, and many others.
Position Overview
- Design, build, and optimize semantic data models in Power BI to support self-service analytics and enterprise reporting.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize Power BI dashboards, reports, and datasets, ensuring accuracy, usability, and performance.
- Partner with data engineering teams to define and validate data pipelines in Databricks and ensure seamless integration with BI models.
- Collaborate with multifunctional teams and stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable BI solutions.
- Drive the migration strategy from SQL Server + MicroStrategy to Databricks + Power BI, ensuring minimal disruption and high adoption.
- Implement best practices in data governance, performance optimization, and security for BI assets.
- Ensure the quality and integrity of data used for decision-making.
- Identify and resolve data and dashboard performance issues.
Skills
- Proven experience in developing dashboards in Power BI.
- Consolidated experience with Data Viz.
- Solid knowledge of SQL and manipulation of large volumes of data.
- Familiarity with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) methodologies and data integration tools.
- Ability to analyse and interpret complex data to generate clear and understandable reports.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate results effectively.
- Advanced English is essential.
- Understanding of the entire business side.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience with Atlan and Report Certification.
- Experience with Databricks - Power BI integration.
- Experience with AI/BI Tooling such as Databricks Genie and Power BI Co Pilot.
