We are looking for our next Events Assistant, either someone established in this role or looking to take their career to new heights. We are a group of six smart agencies providing clients with marketing strategy, creative and digital solutions, live, virtual and hybrid events, data analytics and PR across many market sectors.
We’re well-established and have developed a reputation for delivering and exceeding expectations to some of the world’s best-known brands, including Apple, HP, Microsoft, Fujitsu, and many more. You’ll have the opportunity to learn and develop a career with exposure to a full mix of events, from incentive travel in the UK and internationally to exhibitions, corporate hospitality, SPIFF days and conferences. All of this is for a fabulous range of blue-chip clients, particularly in IT, FMCG, and telco.
You’ll provide support by collating information to prepare proposals and quotations and providing full service for event organisation and implementation. This includes event planning and administration, problem-solving, negotiating, budgeting, communication and in-person delivery of large-scale events.
In this role, you’ll work creatively with some of the world’s biggest brands and will have the opportunity to travel to some amazing places all over the world.
- Assist Project Managers with proposal and industry research
- Negotiate the best possible terms, discounts, and commissions for the Company in respect of bookings and purchases
- Act as point of contact for a client once an event/project has been confirmed
- Attend any relevant and necessary meetings with clients along with Project Managers or Account Director
- Make all appropriate bookings and arrangements in relation to confirmed events/projects
- Prepare accurate jobs and quotes in Synergist (finance system) and reconcile them after a completed event
- Confirm details of events and itineraries to team and clients, including assisting with the creation and production of event collateral – event guides, delegate books, welcome/information packs, delegate badges.
- Attend and host events and represent the Company in a professional manner.
