We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our small, high-security engineering team. This varied role combines planned maintenance, reactive repairs, new installations, and project upgrades across multiple sites. You will work independently on technical drawings and specifications, taking ownership of quality, safety, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs, including fault-finding, testing, and certification.
- Install, commission, and verify new electrical systems to current standards.
- Support site upgrades and enhancements from technical drawings.
- Produce accurate documentation, test records, and compliance reports.
- Ensure all work meets electrical regulations and site safety requirements.
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience in electrical fault-finding, repair, installation, and testing.
- Ability to read and work from complex drawings with minimal supervision.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
- Current SC - Security Clearance.
- Willingness to undergo Developed Vetting (DV) clearance, required for the sensitive and critical infrastructure sites.
Desirable
- City Guilds 2391 (or equivalent) in inspection and testing.
- Experience in high-security or/and or critical infrastructure environments.
