About the School
Coming from different settings, I have never felt as supported or valued as a teacher as I do at Churchward. I love working with the staff and students and enjoy coming to work every day. Each day is different, and I like the variety that brings.
I enjoy working at Churchward School because I like to feel that I and my work colleagues are making a difference to the lives of our students. These are students that now have a place to thrive and mix with others who are in some ways like them; they have a sense of belonging and acceptance. No student is the same but all have the same from staff and that is a caring family.
Seeing smiling faces, laughs and enjoyment of being at school is a great achievement for the majority of our students. Knowing that we as staff will try our hardest to give them the best education and support to achieve their goals, aspirations and a way to cope in the wider world. It's a great pleasure to work at Churchward and to call this my family.
