We’re looking for a Payroll Administrator to join our friendly and supportive Payroll team in Luton. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring payroll data is managed accurately and submitted on time, helping us support our people across the organisation.
As Payroll Administrator, you will be:
- Inputting new starter information into the payroll system and processing leavers and relevant tax forms (e.g. P45s, P60s)
- Managing weekly payrolls for over 9,000 employees and handling payroll queries
- Reconciling wage accounts and processing wage journals
- Carrying out payroll calculations such as maternity, paternity, sickness, and pensions
- Liaising with HMRC and sending required information
- Preparing and uploading Auto Enrolment reports (Excel) to our workplace pension provider
As Payroll Administrator, you will have:
- Experience working in a payroll team (around 2 years is helpful, but not essential)
- Strong communication skills, the ability to work well with people at all levels and a friendly and approachable manner
- Great attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and be confident working to deadlines
- A flexible and collaborative approach to working in a small team
- Resilience and adaptability in a growing and evolving organisation
