Monday to Friday (with flexibility to work until 7:00pm) £33,500 per annum plus company car Overseeing sites in Colchester, Harwich and Ipswich We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our thriving East Anglia Division, overseeing 14 sites across a diverse portfolio of primary schools, secondary schools, and office locations. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business, with the chance to develop existing client relationships and contribute to continued growth and success. In this varied and rewarding role, you will lead and support a team of cleaning operatives, ensuring exceptional service delivery and high operational standards across all sites. No two days are the same, and your leadership, organisational, and people management skills will play a key role in driving performance, building strong customer relationships, and creating a positive working environment for your team. As an Account Manager, you will be: • Maintaining strong client relationships with high levels of satisfaction • Providing and maintaining the quality of service delivery • Managing, recruiting, and coaching local service teams • Carrying out ad-hoc and regular activities such as projects, reports, audits as required by and to support the Operations Manager. • Hold regular contract and specification review meetings with customers • Be responsible for ensuring Health & Safety procedures and legislation is adhered to • Looking for opportunities for continuous improvement, cost savings and account growth. As an Account Manager, you will have: • Strong leadership and motivational abilities, with the capacity to plan ahead, work under pressure, and influence stakeholders at all levels. • Experience in financial forecasting, budgeting, and analysis • A working knowledge of Health and Safety systems within the cleaning industry, ensuring safety for all individuals involved. • Previous experience working with commercial clients would be highly desirable, along with a flexible approach to meeting diverse client needs. • A full driving license and the ability to travel to various sites as required.
