Grove Park, South East London Competitive salary + company car We’re looking for a Cleaning Operations & Centre of Excellence Manager to join our dynamic Transport division. In this key leadership role, you’ll take responsibility for the cleaning operations at a major rail depot for one of our flagship clients. Reporting to the Account Director, you’ll play a pivotal role in developing and leading a high-performing team aligned to Churchill’s values. You\'ll ensure operational excellence and the consistent delivery of high standards in train cleanliness, with a strong focus on compliance, performance, and continuous improvement. As a Cleaning Operation & Centre of Excellence Manager you’ll be: * Lead the operational and strategic delivery of all cleaning services across the site. * Drive performance through clear KPIs, particularly around mobilisation, transition, and the establishment of the Centre of Excellence. * Ensure full compliance with all health and safety policies in collaboration with the H&S Manager. * Conduct regular cleaning audits—both planned and unannounced—to ensure high standards are consistently met. * Identify opportunities for improvement, cost efficiency, and account growth. As a Cleaning Operation & Centre of Excellence Manager you’ll have: * Ideally, a NEBOSH qualification (or equivalent). * Demonstrated experience in people management, with the ability to motivate, coach, and lead diverse teams. * Proven ability to engage and manage senior-level stakeholders across complex operations * A proactive problem-solver who thrives in fast-paced, high-pressure environments. * Experience of implementing Health, Safety and Environmental regulations * Strong commercial acumen, financial oversight, and excellent IT literacy.
