About the role
Its exciting times at Churchill Estates Management as we enter a new phase of growth. As we continue to expand, we’re creating a new HR team to specifically support CEM, and the role of HR Advisor will play an important role in supporting our Managers and Colleagues during their career with us.
As HR Advisor you will provide expert, pragmatic advice to managers and colleagues across the business, ensuring fair, consistent and legally compliant people management practices. You will play a key role in managing complex employee relations matters, supporting organisational change, and promoting a positive and inclusive employee experience.
This role will involve:
- Acting as the lead advisor on a range of employee relations cases
- Providing timely, commercially sound advice to managers on ER issues, ensuring alignment with employment law, internal policies, and best practice
- Managing escalated or high-risk ER cases, balancing legal risk, employee wellbeing, and business priorities
- Supporting organisational change initiatives, including restructures, TUPE, and consultation processes
- Identifying ER trends and root causes, providing insights and recommendations to reduce risk and improve engagement
- Reviewing, interpreting and applying HR policies consistently across the organisation
- Supporting the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and manager toolkits
- Building manager capability through coaching, guidance, and delivery of ER-related training
- Sharing ER knowledge and best practice
- Producing ER metrics and reports to inform decision-making
- Contributing to continuous improvement of HR processes and employee experience
The role is based at our head office in Ringwood, and you are required to be onsite 5 days per week.
About you

Our ideal HR Advisor will:
- Demonstrate experience of managing complex and sensitive ER cases independently
- Have a strong working knowledge of employment law
- Show excellent influencing, coaching and stakeholder management skills
- Be a confident communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Hold a level 5 CIPD qualification or have equivalent experience
- Be highly competent in MS Office including Excel
- Have experience of using HRIS system
As a national company some travel will be required in this role, therefore access to a vehicle and a valid UK driver’s licence is required.
