Churchill Estates Management are actively looking to appoint a Finance Business Partner to join the team in Ringwood.

About the role

Reporting to the Managing Director, the scope of the Finance Business Partner is both strategic and operational. This is a great opportunity to shape and improve processes, manage, motivate and drive forward the Corporate Finance Team in order to provide financial information to the Executive Board of Churchill Estates Management and its subsidiary companies. The role is varied and will enable you to lead on a range of projects and workflow across the business.

Main responsibilities of the Finance Business Partner include:

  • Compliance – overseeing the accounting, tax and regulatory issues.
  • Historic reporting – producing monthly and annual reports for key stakeholders.
  • Budgeting and forecasting – monthly, annual and 5-yearly forecasts of financial and non-financial KPIs.
  • Team Management – recruiting, developing, and maintaining a talented Corporate Finance team.
  • Process and Systems reviews – recommending, implementing, and monitoring effective internal controls to maintain and improve the recording of financial information throughout the Company.

This role is full-time, based in our Ringwood Head Office, business hours are Monday to Thursday, 09:00 to 17:30 and Friday 09:00 to 17:00.

About you

Our new Finance Business Partner will be qualified in or working towards a recognised accounting qualification such as CIMA, ACCA or equivalent. You may be working in a similar role currently or looking to take the next step in your career to a Finance Business Partner role. The Finance Business Partner will demonstrate excellent management and people skills to work alongside our current team, with a high standard of written and spoken English and numeracy. You will be a highly motivated, organised and professional individual who will enable us to move our business forward by demonstrating keen commercial awareness, an understanding of business operations and role-specific expertise in all aspects of finance and accounting, be it systems, controls and regulations. Due to the high levels of reporting, you will have advanced level Excel skills coupled with the experience of using other MS Office applications and general IT skills. Experience using software such as Qube Property Management System would be an advantage, but not essential.
