Location: Ringwood, Hampshire, BH24 3SGReward & Benefits: Competitive salary, company car or car allowance & excellent benefits About the role We have a great opportunity for an Architectural Technologist to join our expanding In-house Technical Team.

Leading in the technical aspects of Architectural work on projects, producing and coordinating drawings packs, schedules and technical information for RIBA stages 4-5 under the direction of the Head of Technical.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Producing and coordinating architectural drawings and detailed design information.

Compliance: Liaise and negotiate with building control, building warranty providers, LPA planning condition and other statutory authorities as appropriate to ensure all approvals are in place well in advance of project timings.

Work with the project team to establish and manage the construction budget Attend site meetings and support site staff with any queries Producing project specific technical details.

Liaising with internal stakeholders, external consultants and statutory bodies to ensure the provision of high quality drawings.

Nurture your professional development and keep up to date with legislation and standards within the industry You’ll play a key role in ensuring the continued success of Churchill Living’s desirable developments.

Whilst the majority of time will be spent in the office, there will be occasional site visits.

About you We’re looking for an experienced Architectural Technologist with knowledge of the relevant regulations, including Building and fire regulations relating to multi storey apartment buildings.

You’ll be skilled at operating industry specific BIM software, such as Revit and Auto CAD.

Initiative and flexibility are key as you’ll be working on a number of projects at any one time and will be required to make day to day decisions relating to design, technical and site issues to ensure that construction is unimpeded.

The role is fast moving and time pressured as you’ll be working to a number of strict deadlines; excellent time management skills and the ability to work under pressure in a team is therefore essential.

Discretion is also vital as the role will involve advance access to potential sites.

An HNC/HND in architectural/construction is essential and a degree in a construction related field (preferably Architecture/Architectural Technology) is desirable.
