About Churchill Partners
Churchill Partners is a newly established acquisition-led holding company with a clear mandate: to acquire, scale, and compound high-quality businesses and build a long-term portfolio with the ultimate ambition of evolving into a private equity platform. We are assembling a carefully selected, high-profile Board to support acquisitions in the $15m – $250m turnover range, leveraging board members’ experience, judgement, networks, and credibility to accelerate deal flow, execution, and value creation.
The Role
We are seeking exceptional Board Members to join Churchill Partners and, where appropriate, the boards of acquired businesses. This is not a non-executive “box-ticking” role. Board members will be actively engaged in:
- Evaluating acquisition opportunities
- Supporting deal execution and financing
- Providing strategic oversight post-acquisition
- Enhancing governance, leadership, and market credibility
Appointments are engagement-based, with remuneration aligned to involvement and impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic input on M&A transactions, valuations, and deal structuring
- Support with deal origination, introductions, and market access
- Guidance on acquisition financing, capital structures, and growth funding
- Board-level oversight of acquired portfolio companies
- Mentorship and challenge to executive management teams
- Acting as an ambassador for Churchill Partners in relevant markets
Who We Are Looking For
We are targeting individuals with proven senior-level credibility, such as:
- Former or current CEOs, CFOs, COOs, Chairs, or Board Directors
- Individuals with private equity, M&A, corporate finance, or scaled operating experience
- Sector leaders with strong networks in professional services, financial services, industrials, healthcare, technology, or B2B services
- Individuals who have built, scaled, acquired, or exited businesses
- Those comfortable operating in high-trust, high-impact environments
This role is best suited to individuals who:
- Think like owners and investors
- Are selective about where they deploy their time and reputation
- Want to be part of building something long-term and meaningful
Remuneration
Paid per acquisition and board appointment, structured as daily rates or annual board fees, depending on involvement. Competitive and aligned with senior market expectations. Potential for expanded involvement as the portfolio grows.
Why Join Churchill Partners
- Be part of a founding board, shaping the platform from inception
- Exposure to multiple acquisitions, not a single operating company
- Work alongside a high-calibre leadership and advisory group
- Flexible, deal-driven engagement rather than fixed employment
- Long-term opportunity as the platform evolves into a PE-style structure
