We have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician across our Churchill, Canbury, Orchard and Berrylands Primary Care Network (CCOB PCN). The position is based at The Churchill Medical Centre and The Orchard Practice, serving approximately 50,000 patients in four practices throughout Kingston.

Main duties

  • Support the practice teams to ensure safe, effective, and efficient systems for repeat prescribing, medicines optimisation, reducing medicines waste, and maximising patient outcomes.
  • Work alongside prescribing clerks, clinical pharmacists, GPs and nurses.
  • Develop in‑house services while providing patient‑facing care.
  • Build effective relationships with patients, GPs, nurses, community pharmacists, hospital and PCN staff, and work as part of a team.

Qualifications

  • Registration with the GPhC as a Pharmacy Technician.
  • BTEC/NVQ level 3 or equivalent in pharmaceutical sciences.
  • Sound clinical knowledge and computer literacy.

Experience

  • Prior experience in general practice or a similar role is an advantage; candidates from all backgrounds will be considered.
