The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

This role will involve:

  • Acting as the lead advisor on complex employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, capability, absence management, performance, bullying and harassment, and redundancy processes.
  • Providing timely, commercially sound advice to managers on ER issues, ensuring alignment with employment law, internal policies, and best practice.
  • Managing escalated or high-risk ER cases, balancing legal risk, employee wellbeing, and business priorities.
  • Supporting organisational change initiatives, including restructures, TUPE, and consultation processes.
  • Identifying ER trends and root causes, providing insights and recommendations to reduce risk and improve engagement.
  • Reviewing, interpreting and applying HR policies consistently across the organisation.
  • Supporting the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and manager toolkits.
  • Building manager capability through coaching, guidance, and delivery of ER-related training.
  • Acting as a mentor to junior HR colleagues, sharing ER knowledge and best practice.
  • Producing ER metrics and reports to inform decision-making.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement of HR processes and employee experience.

Our ideal Senior HR Advisor will:

  • Demonstrate experience of managing complex and sensitive ER cases independently.
  • Have a strong working knowledge of employment law.
  • Show excellent influencing, coaching and stakeholder management skills.
  • Be a confident communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Hold a level 5 CIPD qualification or have equivalent experience.

As a national company some travel will be required in this role, therefore access to a vehicle and a valid UK driver's licence is required.
