About the role
We are seeking a highly creative and experienced Graphic Design Manager to lead and inspire our design team. The Graphic Design Manager is essential in driving the creative direction of our projects, ensuring high-quality designs across all channels, including digital. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in graphic design, a passion for creativity, and excellent leadership skills to help direct the team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Creative Direction & Strategy: Lead the development and execution of creative concepts for various design projects, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and marketing strategies.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of graphic designers, fostering a collaborative, creative, and results-driven environment.
- Design Oversight: Oversee the design process from concept to final execution across multiple marketing channels, including print and digital.
- Brand Consistency: Maintain and evolve the visual identity of the brand, ensuring all design work adheres to established standards and effectively communicates the desired message.
- Innovation: Encourage and implement innovative designs to keep the company's visual presence fresh and competitive. Stay updated with design trends and emerging technologies.
- Digital Asset Production: Lead the creation and optimization of digital assets, including online promotional content, ensuring alignment with marketing strategies and brand guidelines.
- Project Management: Oversee multiple design projects, balancing priorities and timelines to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
- Creative Brief Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements, develop clear briefs, and ensure deliverables meet expectations.
- Stakeholder Interaction: Present and explain design concepts to internal teams and stakeholders, gather feedback, and revise as needed.
About you
- Proven experience (5+ years) in graphic design with a strong portfolio demonstrating creativity.
- Previous leadership or managerial experience.
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and familiarity with other platforms like Figma.
- Experience with AI-driven tools to enhance design workflows.
- Strong understanding of digital assets, including display ads, banners, and social media content.
- Solid knowledge of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- A passion for design with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects under pressure and meet deadlines.
