We have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced IT Field Technician to join our Bromsgrove office, supporting Colleagues in an IT service desk capacity across the country.
About the role:
- Provide technical support and service fulfilment to our Colleagues, including those based within regional offices and sites/developments in the field.
- Plan, prepare and perform IT equipment set ups and installations at site cabins, sales offices and Lodge Manager offices.
- Provide 1st and 2nd line support (service desk) to IT users in the resolution of reported faults.
- Fulfil service requests made by IT users via the IT Ticketing System.
- Monitor and report on the progress of IT services within the region and support project work as required.
- Desktop and remote support based at our Bromsgrove Office, with some travel required to offices and developments within the Midlands and North.
Working hours are Monday to Thursday 9:00am – 5:30pm, Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm.
About you:
- Previous IT Technician or IT Service Desk experience with a good working knowledge across a range of end user devices including laptops, printers, phones, routers, mobiles and tablets, with a good knowledge of Microsoft 365.
- Previous experience of a ticketing system is desirable.
- Experience and enjoyment of a busy role in a fast-paced environment is essential.
- Highly organised, capable of managing your own workload and confident working alone or as part of a team.
- Experience of supporting a distributed user base.
- Demonstrate a fantastic customer service approach, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Effective analytical and problem solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Educated as a minimum to GCSE level Grade C / 5, including Maths and English with an excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal.
- A valid UK driving licence is essential.
