Investor Relations Analyst Midlands | Hybrid | Listed Business ACA qualified and considering your first or second move from practice? If you're looking for something broader than traditional reporting, this is a rare opportunity to move closer to strategy, the markets and senior decision-making. You'll join the Investor Relations team of a major listed business, working directly with senior finance leadership and gaining exposure to the CEO, CFO, Executive Committee and Board. The role combines financial analysis, commercial insight and communication. You'll get underneath business performance, understand what really matters to investors and help shape how that story is communicated to the market. For an ACA coming from audit, transaction services, corporate finance or a first move into industry, it offers a genuinely different route into the commercial side of a listed business. What you'll be doing This is a broad role rather than a traditional accounting position. You'll: Get heavily involved in results season, helping turn financial performance into clear investor messaging Analyse performance, forecasts, market expectations and competitor activity Build models and benchmarking analysis to explain what is driving the business Produce sharp, senior-level insight for the CFO, Executive team and Board Help create investor presentations and other market-facing materials Track analyst forecasts and understand where market expectations are moving Support conversations with investors and equity analysts Work across Finance, Strategy and the wider business to pull together the information behind the numbers Get involved in investor events, presentations and Capital Markets activity What we're looking for We're particularly interested in speaking to ACA-qualified accountants making their first or second move from practice. You're likely to have: Strong financial analysis and accounting fundamentals The ability to quickly understand a complex business Confidence working with senior stakeholders Strong written and verbal communication skills Commercial curiosity and an interest in business, markets and valuation The ability to take a lot of information and get quickly to the key message High standards of accuracy without getting lost in the detail Previous Investor Relations experience isn't essential. Experience in audit, transaction services, corporate finance, financial reporting or another analytically strong finance role could all translate well.
