Churchill Howard is looking for a commercially aware finance professional to support operational and strategic decision-making across multiple business areas. You'll play a key role in planning, forecasting, and performance analysis, helping the business stay on track and make smart, data-informed decisions.
What You'll Be Doing
- Partner with multiple teams to provide financial insight and support, ensuring strong cost control and efficient month-end close processes.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with budget owners to help achieve in-year targets.
- Lead the budgeting process across designated business areas, ensuring timelines and inputs are managed effectively.
- Support annual business planning by gathering stakeholder input and creating robust financial models.
- Dive into financial and operational data to identify trends, uncover risks and opportunities, and deliver meaningful analysis.
- Produce accurate and timely forecasts, ensuring financial implications of business plans are fully captured.
- Report monthly financial performance, including operating expenses, capital spend, and income, to finance and leadership teams.
- Ensure accurate and compliant cost allocations as part of annual regulatory reporting, adhering to relevant accounting guidelines.
- Deliver high-quality presentations that clearly communicate insights and drive action.
- Contribute to commercially sound business decisions by balancing financial data with broader business context.
- Work with non-financial data and operational teams to ensure accuracy and integrity of reporting inputs.
- Provide ad hoc analysis and financial modelling to support evolving business needs.
To be considered you'll have
- Fully Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA or Equivalent
- Strong stakeholder management capabilities - you'll build business relationships inside and outside of finance quickly and effectively.
- Experience of working in a large listed business/global brand/large Plc.
