I'm working with a large, listed business looking to appoint a Financial Reporting Senior Manager into a high-profile Group Finance role. You'll lead key areas of external and statutory reporting, manage the external audit relationship and take ownership of a broad range of technical accounting matters. The role also offers significant exposure to senior stakeholders and responsibility for developing an established team.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead preparation of Group and subsidiary financial statements, interim reporting and quarterly results
- Manage the annual external audit process
- Own key technical accounting areas including consolidation, leases, share-based payments, fixed assets, borrowings and revenue recognition
- Partner with finance and operational teams on complex accounting matters
- Support the ongoing development of financial controls and reporting processes
- Lead, coach and develop a high-calibre finance team
What we're looking for:
- ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualified
- Strong technical financial reporting experience within a large or complex organisation
- Experience managing and developing a team
