ACA qualified and considering your first or second move from practice?

If you're looking for something broader than traditional reporting, this is a rare opportunity to move closer to strategy, the markets and senior decision-making.

You'll join the Investor Relations team of a major listed business, working directly with senior finance leadership and gaining exposure to the CEO, CFO, Executive Committee and Board.

The role combines financial analysis, commercial insight and communication. You'll get underneath business performance, understand what really matters to investors and help shape how that story is communicated to the market.

For an ACA coming from audit, transaction services, corporate finance or a first move into industry, it offers a genuinely different route into the commercial side of a listed business.

What you'll be doing

This is a broad role rather than a traditional accounting position. You'll:

Get heavily involved in results season, helping turn financial performance into clear investor messaging
Analyse performance, forecasts, market expectations and competitor activity
Build models and benchmarking analysis to explain what is driving the business
Produce sharp, senior-level insight for the CFO, Executive team and Board
Help create investor presentations and other market-facing materials
Track analyst forecasts and understand where market expectations are moving
Support conversations with investors and equity analysts
Work across Finance, Strategy and the wider business to pull together the information behind the numbers
Get involved in investor events, presentations and Capital Markets activity
What we're looking for

We're particularly interested in speaking to ACA-qualified accountants making their first or second move from practice.

You're likely to have:

Strong financial analysis and accounting fundamentals
The ability to quickly understand a complex business
Confidence working with senior stakeholders
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Commercial curiosity and an interest in business, markets and valuation
The ability to take a lot of information and get quickly to the key message
High standards of accuracy without getting lost in the detail

Previous Investor Relations experience isn't essential.

Experience in audit, transaction services, corporate finance, financial reporting or another analytically strong finance role could all translate well.
