Responsibilities

  • Work within the guidance provided by ACOP L8 and associated company documents to ensure plants are safe and free from Legionella risks.
  • Carry out planned plumbing and maintenance remedial works to hot and cold water systems across customer properties, including water storage tank refurbishment, hot water cylinder replacements, pipework alterations, cleaning and disinfection.
  • Work in accordance with Water Regulations and in line with HSG274 & ACoP L8 as instructed.
  • Identify deviations and make recommendations for corrective action.
  • Act as liaison between client and head office.
  • Ensure that on-site records are maintained in line with the scope of works.
  • Deliver water hygiene management and compliance, ensuring all PPM contract requirements are met across all allocated sites.
  • Nominal hours are Monday to Friday 8:00–5:00, but early starts, overtime, and some weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

  • Full UK driving licence (required).
  • NVQ Level 2 Plumbing/Technical Certificate (or equivalent).
  • Knowledge of Water Regulations, Unvented Hot Water (G3).
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Good time management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Flexible approach, willingness to adapt.
