Cleaning is Churchill’s largest long‑established business area and as a NHS Support Fleet Driver you will have the all‑important duty of assisting SCAS Operational Support Desk (OSD) with the movement of vehicles to cover shifts and also move vehicles in and out of the workshops run by South Central Fleet Services (SCFS) for service, MOT and repairs.

The role of NHS Support Fleet Driver is a key role within the organisation and your support is vital to ensure that the frontline ambulance crews have a clean, stocked vehicle at the start of every shift. Your safety is very important to us, so we will make sure that you’re aware of our latest policies and will provide the necessary training required to carry out your role.

As an NHS Support Fleet Driver, you’ll have:

  • Full clean driving licence.
  • Drivers qualifying since January 1997 must have C1 classification on their licence.
  • Basic Road Transport Legislation.
  • Basic vehicle maintenance.
  • Two years driving experience.
  • Experience of driving light goods vehicles.
  • Some shift work.
