Based across Tyne & Wear and down to Teeside, we are looking for an experienced Cleaning Account Manager to join our growing team, taking ownership of a diverse portfolio of contracts across the North East. You will lead the delivery of cleaning services across a multi-site portfolio spanning education, commercial office and NHS environments.
With direct line management responsibility for your team, you’ll be providing strong operational leadership, driving service excellence, and ensuring consistently high standards across all contracts. As a Cleaning Account Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Maintaining strong client relationships with high levels of satisfaction
- Providing and maintaining the quality-of-service delivery
- Managing, recruiting, and coaching local service teams
- Carrying out ad-hoc and regular activities such as projects, reports, and audits as required by and to support the Operations Manager
- Ensuring Health & Safety procedures and legislation are adhered to
- Looking for opportunities for continuous improvement, cost savings, and account growth
As a Cleaning Account Manager, you will have the following expertise and attributes:
- Excellent interpersonal communication and people management skills
- Excellent leadership and motivational skills, with the ability to forward plan, work under pressure and influence at a senior level
- Experience with financial forecasting, budgeting, and analysis
- Working knowledge of Health and Safety systems in the cleaning industry
- Strong commercial awareness, financial management, and IT literacy
- Passionate, flexible, trustworthy, with the ability to work to tight deadlines
