We’re looking for a Credit Control Administrator to investigate and resolve outstanding invoice issues, ensuring timely payments and supporting smooth financial operations. This role is key where your analytical skills and collaborative approach will help strengthen client relationships and contribute to a high-performing finance team.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with clients to resolve account queries and to chase and collect outstanding payments via phone and email
  • Build and maintain positive relationships to support timely payments
  • Follow debt collection procedures for overdue accounts
  • Update spreadsheets/databases, resolve basic queries, and support payment issue resolution
  • Assist with sales invoicing and general accounts team tasks
  • Process and allocate unassigned payments as needed

Qualifications

  • Experience in credit control and confident using Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and databases
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and approachable style across all levels
  • Able to prioritise tasks, manage time effectively, and meet multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Works well both independently and collaboratively, using initiative and knowing when to seek support
  • Maintains accuracy under pressure, takes ownership of work, and adapts well to change
