Location: Solihull, West Midlands
We’re looking for a dynamic and experienced Cleaning Account Manager to join our growing Chequers division, overseeing a key housing association contract across multiple residential and communal sites.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support a team of cleaning operatives, ensuring locations are consistently maintained to the highest standards.
- Drive daily operations—motivating the team, managing performance, and delivering exceptional service.
- Be responsible for maintaining strong client relationships with high levels of satisfaction and ensuring quality of service delivery.
- Manage, recruit, and coach local service teams; carry out ad-hoc and regular activities such as projects, reports, and audits to support the Operations Manager.
- Ensure Health & Safety procedures and legislation are adhered to.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, cost savings, and account growth.
Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal communication and people management skills.
- Excellent leadership and motivational skills, with the ability to forward plan, work under pressure and influence at a senior level.
- Experience with financial forecasting, budgeting, and analysis.
- Working knowledge of Health and Safety systems in the cleaning industry.
- Ability to work to tight timescales.
- Strong commercial awareness, financial management, and IT literacy.
- Passionate, flexible, trustworthy, and innovative.
