Full-Time | Temporary Contract (Until January 2026)

£37,000 – £40,000 per annum + Company Car

Location: Solihull, West Midlands

We’re looking for a dynamic and experienced Cleaning Account Manager to join our growing Chequers division, overseeing a key housing association contract across multiple residential and communal sites.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support a team of cleaning operatives, ensuring locations are consistently maintained to the highest standards.
  • Drive daily operations—motivating the team, managing performance, and delivering exceptional service.
  • Be responsible for maintaining strong client relationships with high levels of satisfaction and ensuring quality of service delivery.
  • Manage, recruit, and coach local service teams; carry out ad-hoc and regular activities such as projects, reports, and audits to support the Operations Manager.
  • Ensure Health & Safety procedures and legislation are adhered to.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, cost savings, and account growth.

Qualifications

  • Excellent interpersonal communication and people management skills.
  • Excellent leadership and motivational skills, with the ability to forward plan, work under pressure and influence at a senior level.
  • Experience with financial forecasting, budgeting, and analysis.
  • Working knowledge of Health and Safety systems in the cleaning industry.
  • Ability to work to tight timescales.
  • Strong commercial awareness, financial management, and IT literacy.
  • Passionate, flexible, trustworthy, and innovative.
