Key Responsibilities:
- Commercial Management: Full responsibility for CVRs (Cost Value Reconciliations) and monthly reporting.
- Procurement: Leading the procurement of sub-contractor packages with internal support.
- Valuations & Variations: Managing interim valuations and accurately pricing variations to ensure project profitability.
- Measurement: Carrying out detailed measuring and "taking off" from drawings.
- Systems: Utilizing the Causeway estimating system to manage project costs (experience with Causeway is a significant advantage).
- Final Accounts: Negotiating and agreeing final accounts with both clients and subcontractors.
The Ideal Candidate: We are looking for a grounded, technically minded professional who has "grown up" on-site and understands the realities of a live construction environment.
