About the Company
We are a fast‐growing SaaS company operating at the intersection of Carbon Tracking, Digital Product Passports (DPP), Supply Chain Traceability, and ESG compliance. Our platform helps manufacturers, importers, exporters, distributors, and sustainability‐driven businesses meet upcoming EU ESPR & DPP regulations, automate Scope 1–3 carbon reporting, and achieve full end‐to‐end product traceability. With the platform now fully developed and ready to scale, we are looking for a world‐class Chief Marketing Officer and Director to accelerate market penetration and drive 5,000 paying subscribers within the next 12 months.

Key Responsibilities
- Growth & Subscriber Acquisition (Primary Objective)
- Achieve 5,000+ SaaS subscribers within 6–9 months.
- Execute a multi‐channel acquisition plan covering:
- LinkedIn growth & thought‐leadership campaigns
- Webinars and industry events
- Paid ads (LinkedIn & Google)
- Partnerships with consultants, accountants, ERP vendors, legal firms
- Build and manage a predictable subscription sales engine.
- Strategic Partnerships (40–50% of total growth)
- Sign partnerships with:
- Sustainability consultants
- Accounting firms
- Law firms (ESG & regulatory departments)
- ERP, MRP, and logistics platforms
- Industry associations
- Create partner programs offering revenue share, onboarding support, and co‐branded materials.
- Drive 2,000+ subscribers through partnerships alone.
- Identify and close deals with:
- Manufacturers
- Food & beverage producers
- Present platform demos, sustainability ROI, and compliance value.
- Convert enterprise clients into long‐term contracts (£1.5k–£15k/month).
- Manage negotiation, onboarding, and retention.
- Outbound & Inbound Sales Execution
- Build outbound sequences for high‐value buyers.
- Qualify leads and move them through the sales cycle.
- Work closely with marketing to improve lead scoring and conversion.
- Industry Webinars & Events
- Host or co‐host:
- DPP compliance webinars
- ESG reporting sessions
- EU regulation briefings
- Attend sustainability, manufacturing, and supply chain expos.
- Generate 1,000+ warm leads per month through events.
- Position the platform as the #1 unified ESG compliance engine.
- Identify new niche verticals and industry‐specific opportunities.
- Provide continuous feedback to product teams for roadmap improvements.
- Monitor competitors and market trends (ESPR, CSRD, ISO 14064, EPCIS 2.0, etc.).
- Build a small sales team as demand grows (SDRs + AEs).
- Set KPIs, track performance, and report growth metrics weekly.
- Collaborate with product, tech, and marketing founders.
- Ensure compliance with data protection, GDPR, and ESG communication rules.
Required Skills & Experience
Must‐Have
- Proven experience in high‐growth B2B SaaS (preferably sustainability, supply chain, ERP, or compliance tools).
- Track record of achieving rapid subscriber or revenue growth.
- Deep understanding of:
- Digital Product Passports (DPP)
- EU ESPR regulation
- Carbon accounting (Scope 1–3)
- Supply chain traceability systems
Nice‐to‐Have
- Experience with GS1, EPCIS, ISO 14064/14067, or circular economy tech.
- Background in consulting, ESG compliance, or sustainability advisory.
- Team lead or director‐level experience.
