About the role
We are looking for an experienced Building Surveyor to undertake on-site external and internal property surveys to provide Churchill Estates Management with reliable and robust stock condition data. Which will be used for future asset management and maintenance of our property portfolio throughout England and Wales. The stock condition data will be instrumental in ensuring our company remains fully compliant with legislation and regulations and enables our customers to benefit from the best quality retirement accommodation.
The Building Surveyor will report directly to the Head of Property Services and will be required to work very closely with the Owners, Lodge Managers, Property Co-Ordinator and Area Managers.
About you
We are seeking someone who has previous experience within the construction or property management industry with excellent knowledge of Health & Safety, Building Regulations, Fire Safety and Asbestos Awareness.
Ideally educated to HNC or degree level in a related construction or property subject or professionally qualified or working towards qualifications such as RICS, CIOB or ABE.
You will have strong communication skills and be comfortable communicating with contractors, customers and internal stakeholder.
The successful person will be highly organised, have excellent IT skills and an eye for detail. You will take a proactive approach to your work and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
