Legionella Risk Assessor The main purpose of this job… Our dedicated water hygiene division (Churchill Environmental Services) has a proud and knowledgeable heritage dealing with every aspect of water and air compliance. To provide high level water hygiene service to all CES Clients. This role is within a medium sized water hygiene division, offering the opportunity to build upon their experience, progress their career and gain extensive experience within a fast-paced environment. Reporting into the Risk Assessor Manager, the Legionella Risk Assessor will be responsible for undertaking risk assessments, risk assessment reviews and surveys on a wide variety of water systems (incl. other risk systems) and will require a good understanding of both commercial and domestic water systems. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all risk assessment reports and their satisfactory completion and quality checking, prior to issue. Legionella Risk Assessor Key responsibilities: * To carry out Legionella Risk assessments, reviews and surveys in line with company procedures and method statements. * Ensure all survey forms and work records (electronic system based) are complete and accurate. * Assist with technical development of the risk assessment document where required. * Ensure all Health & Safety procedures are followed and recorded and are complete and accurate. * Ensure all arrangements for visits with clients are made in a timely and professional manner. * Provide full support to the Risk Assessor Manager, as and when required. * Any other reasonable tasks as required. Legionella Risk Assessor Skills and abilities: * Effective communication with good interpersonal communication skills at all levels of the organization, and with 3rd parties. * An ability to proactively identify problems and make decisions, taking appropriate action to a resolution. * An ability to attain an accurate and consistent standard of service. * An ability to work on own initiative and positively as a team member. * Computer literacy, with the ability to effectively use the Microsoft Office package and bespoke software/databases.
