JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for ensuring the overall effectiveness of guest service in the food outlet. Gives directions to guests or attendees in this outlet as necessary. Shows dignity, kindness and respect to guests and team members. Involved in setting up, maintaining, and working a shift or shifts in a F&B. Adherence to company standards and directives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Adheres to all Standard Operating Procedures, SOPs.
- Shows great teamwork with all.
- Is a role model for the company and responds to questions positively.
- Must attain a TIPS certification according to Casino and State guidelines.
- Must be detail oriented and ensure that all items are correct, perhaps hundreds of times over, in the food outlet(s).
- Works with communication devices such as telephones, bulletin boards, and tablets.
- Pushed carts of dishes approximately 100 feet; stock plates, glasses, cups, and needed products.
- Interprets food orders coming through kitchen printers from dining room.
- Organizes orders for service.
- Prepares food trays from completed kitchen line items and organizes trays for service staff to serve.
- Prepares and serves appropriate side sauces with kitchen items.
- Keeps station and kitchen service area neat and organized.
- Keeps beverage service and food service trays neat, clean and organized.
- Maintains strict quality control on all food being served.
- Ensures that food is at proper temperature and well presented.
- Ensures proper accompaniments are in place with meals.
- Maintains server drop off and pick up areas of kitchen to make sure they are clean and functional.
- Cleans and polishes tableware of spots, pre-buses.
- Handles guest banking of all dining room checks and monies.
- Buses tables in a timely manner to accommodate new business if needed.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, stressful environment while being calm, collected and accurate with attention to detail.
- Works safely, with sanitation, efficiency, and with guest’s loyalty in mind.
- Ensures and maintains cleanliness and orderliness of the host podium and ensures the dining room floor is always presentable.
- Demonstrates record of successful interpersonal skills regarding working with diverse people and levels of authority.
- Must be able to work any shift needed and is a minimum of 18 years of age (if under 21, able to secure a gaming license from the State of Maine until 21st birthday).
- Ability to multi-task and complete all tasks with minimal supervision and shows a sense of urgency no matter what the business volume is.

This position requires someone who is organized, comfortable communicating effectively with others and is a good time manager.
