JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for providing excellent guest service by preparing cocktails and beverages for guests and servers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Takes beverage orders from guests and checks identification to verify age requirements.
- Promotes brands and products to increase sales.
- Prepares cocktails and beverages for guests and servers according to recipes and specifications.
- Performs set up and breakdown of bar area as well as side work and projects as needed.
- Maintains the appearance and cleanliness of the bar/work area in accordance with company and health department standards by arranging bottle displays, sweeping, wiping counter tops, removing trash, etc.
- Assists with inventory control, stocking, and proper rotation of product.
- Performs responsible alcohol service with regards to guest limitations.
- Completes monetary transaction using a point-of-sale system by maintaining cash drawer, accepting cash or card for payment, returning correct change, etc.
- Maintains knowledge of all menu items and prices as well as related regulations for drink preparation and storage.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Excellent guest service and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong and accurate money handling skills.
- Ability to work under stress in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of sanitation and health department regulations for safe handling of alcohol.
- Knowledge of all bar equipment, cash register, and company beverage system as well as wines, alcohol, and mixed drinks.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One to three months related experience and/or training in mixing a variety of alcoholic beverages.
- Other combinations of education and experience may be considered.
- Must obtain and maintain Serv-Safe certificate.
- Must obtain and maintain a valid racing license.

The Team Member will be required to stand for the duration of the shift. The Team Member may be required to lift up to 50 pounds. The Team Member may be required to work long hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. The work environment may vary in levels of crowds, noise, and smoke, depending on the assigned station and guest volume.
