Contract: Fixed term until 31st August 2027

Hours: 20.83 hours per week, spread across Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, Term-Time only.

Grade: JG4 SCP7 - SCP11 £26,403 - £28,142 per annum pro rata

Actual Salary: £11,282.19 - £12,025.28 per annum

Our school, Churchill Primary School, is set in a beautiful rural location within North Somerset. We have a modern, well-resourced building with seven classes and attractive grounds and play areas.

We are looking for a team member who is enthusiastic, committed to inspiring a love of learning and has high expectations of themselves and pupils. Our motto, ‘With kind hearts and determined minds, we inspire each other to be the best we can be’ permeates all aspects of our school, and we would expect the successful candidate to bring this commitment to their role in school.

We had Ofsted in March this year and were delighted with our report, which reflects the special atmosphere and approach to learning in our school. We are particularly proud of the ‘strong standard’ recognition for both inclusion and personal development and wellbeing, as the team works incredibly hard to support every pupil every day.

We see children as incredible and powerful learners. Our team provides exciting learning experiences and challenges, which feed our children’s curiosity of the world and embrace their inquisitive nature, so that they are able to live life in all its fullness.

The Trust: The Lighthouse Schools Partnership (LSP) is a Multi-Academy Trust which has experienced rapid growth since it started in 2016. There are currently 34 schools in the Trust. The Lighthouse Schools Partnership is cross-phase and includes Infant, Junior, Primary and Secondary schools. The Trust is a mixed MAT and includes both non-denominational and Church of England schools.
