Churches Fire & Security Ltd is an industry leading Fire Protection business and is continuing to grow rapidly with over 800 staff currently. Churches Fire has a track record of providing fantastic opportunities to candidates throughout the Country. Due to our expanding team and client base, we are now seeking a Field Line Manager to join the team in London. If you are passionate about the industry, have a wealth of technical experience across both fire and security, and are keen for your next step in the industry – this could be the role for you!
As a senior engineer or experienced Manager, you will be accountable for motivating engineers to deliver high-quality service in full compliance with current British Standards. Your responsibilities will include training, auditing, and assessing your team to uphold performance and regulatory requirements.
The Role
- To manage and effectively communicate with technicians and all other business departments
- To routinely assess and audit technician performance, including recognising gaps in knowledge
- Monitor all overdue service orders, and complete within a specified deadline
- Ensure all technicians are meeting targets and KPI’s
- Uphold a safe working environment
- Support financial growth within your team
- Promote a customer focused approach, resolving all complaints within 48 hours
- Represent the business in a professional manner
- Advocate the companies’ values and vision
The Ideal Candidate
- Must have a driving license
- Experience of working in the fire and security industry
- Have fantastic time management skills
- A good knowledge of hand tools
- Be available out of hours and in hour call outs
- Previous customer experience
- Be motivated & have a positive personality
- Effective communication
