The role of a Fire and Security Small Works Engineer:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Fire and Security Small Works Engineer to join my client. As a key member of their field team, you will be responsible for carrying out small works across both fire and security systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To pick up small works orders that have been raised by the service team and ensure repairs are all in line with the British Standards
  • Diagnose and repair faults on fire alarms, CCTV, Access Control and Intruder systems
  • Provide technical support and guidance to clients.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed, including reports on system status and any issues. Provide expert technical advice and support to customers.
  • Complete all relevant documentation and reports as required.
  • Ensure work is carried out in accordance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships, providing excellent service at all times.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Fire and Security Engineer
  • Knowledge and understanding of fire and security systems, including relevant regulations and standards.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose faults in electrical systems and fire/security equipment.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Flexible and willing to travel
