We are looking for a thoughtful and inspiring School Chaplain to play a central role in the spiritual life of our community. This is a unique opportunity to provide pastoral care, guidance and leadership within a vibrant boarding environment, supporting pupils and staff of all faiths and none. The Chaplain will nurture a culture of reflection, compassion and service, helping to shape the values and character of the School.
Full Time Term Time Only
Bloxham School is a thriving school with a warm and friendly staff community. Our school day starts at 8.30 am and finishes at 6pm Monday to Friday. Academic lessons end at 3.30pm after which our staff contribute to broader curricular activities, academic drop-ins and pastoral meetings. Saturday lessons are from 8.30am -12.00.
The pastoral service we offer at Bloxham School matters hugely to us and therefore all teachers are tutors. If you are a senior tutor, you will be expected to carry out one evening duty per week in their boarding house from 6.45-10.00pm and if a junior tutor, once a fortnight from 6pm-9pm.
