We’re looking for someone who is an exceptional, versatile organist and pianist open to all genres of music (classical, jazz, opera, musical theatre, film, pop) to support our worship throughout the church year, which is traditional in structure but creative and imaginative in the detail.
Ideal Candidate
- Be comfortable at both organ and piano in a range of musical styles
- Display a sense of fun, musical flair and versatility both as accompanist and soloist
- Work closely with the Director of Music to assist with planning and preparation
- Collaborate with our choral scholars, volunteer singers and professional instrumentalists
- Help support our children’s choir outreach work
- Assist with arrangements for choir and orchestra using Sibelius or similar software.
Our organ is a 3‑manual Hill instrument from 1865, completely restored with new tracker action by Nicholson in 2015. We also have a Yamaha C7 grand piano.
Remuneration £8,500-9,500 p/a depending on experience and availability. Position available from August 2026.
