We are looking to recruit an additional Chaplain to join our Pastoral & Teaching Team, sharing with the whole community in offering God’s generous welcome to a wide variety of guests.
We are looking for a Chaplain who:
- is an ordained, accredited, or recognised lay-leader in a church which is a member of, or recognised by, Churches Together in Britain and Ireland.
- has a clear calling and commitment to community living.
- has pastoral gifts and experience, sensitivity, and good listening skills.
- is a competent teacher with ability to communicate effectively and creatively.
- is comfortable with a variety of styles of spirituality and worship.
- is well‑organised, flexible, and willing not to take themselves too seriously.
- understands, values, and models good safeguarding practice.
- has understanding and experience of spiritual renewal.
The post is a live‑in position for 3 years with annual reviews. Remuneration is by way of accommodation, meals, personal allowance and pension contributions. Accommodation is most suited to a single person or a couple. An enhanced DBS check is required.
