Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Dental Nurse role based at Church Stretton Dental & Implant Centre in Church Stretton.

The Dental Nurse will support dentists and clinicians during procedures, prepare and maintain treatment rooms, and ensure all instruments and equipment are cleaned, sterilized, and ready for use.

Daily responsibilities include assisting with patient care, updating clinical records, organizing materials, and following practice protocols for infection control and decontamination.

The role also involves reassuring patients, explaining post-treatment instructions, managing chairside support for general dentistry and implant procedures, and contributing to a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment for patients and colleagues.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess skills in general Dentistry and Dental Care, including chairside assistance and patient support.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Infection Control and Decontamination, with a strong understanding of safety standards and clinical hygiene protocols.
  • Recognized dental nursing qualification and current registration with the GDC is required
  • Strong communication, empathy, and teamwork skills, with attention to detail and reliable time management.
  • Experience in a dental practice or healthcare setting and familiarity with SOE software is beneficial
  • Commitment to continuing professional development and adherence to all relevant clinical and regulatory guidelines.
