We are a vibrant and welcoming conservative evangelical church situated on the Surrey/Hampshire border. We are looking for someone to preach God’s Word to our community and bring glory to the Lord Jesus in all we do. As a Resolution parish receiving delegated oversight from the Bishop of Ebbsfleet, we would like to appoint a male incumbent to build on the evangelical foundations established over recent years, and who will:

  • sit under the supreme authority of Scripture
  • diligently, clearly and faithfully explain God’s Word
  • encourage prayer and display the fruit of the Spirit
  • commit to evangelism and youth & children’s work

Benefits include a loving church family to pastor and serve alongside a supportive PCC, Churchwardens and Youth & Children’s Worker, and a lovely, 5-bedroom vicarage next to the church.

Please see the Parish Profile below for full details. And if you would like to have an informal conversation, please contact the Archdeacon of Surrey at catharine.mabuza@cofeguildford.org.uk.

Closing date: 28 July 2026, midnight. Interviews: 9 + 10 September 2026.

As a diocese we believe that diversity is a strength. We actively welcome and encourage applications from candidates of all backgrounds, particularly those who are female, younger, identify themselves as a UK Minority Ethnic/Global Majority Heritage, or disabled, as it's essential that we reflect the diversity of the communities we serve.
